During a working trip to the Murmansk region, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, along with the head of the region, Andrei Chibis, visited the seaport, where he examined the latest fishing vessel Captain Sokolov, built as part of the investment quotas mechanism.
“The fishing complex is of great importance for the economy of the Murmansk region. Regional users catch more than 10% of all -Russian volumes. The fishing enterprises of the subject are involved in the implementation of the investment quota mechanism, which allows you to update the fishing fleet, increase processing, and increase production efficiency. In general, the mechanism “Kvot under the keel“ gave an incentive to the revival of Russian commercial shipbuilding. Currently, the construction of 27 plants and 40 ships has been completed as part of the program. Of these, 23 fishing vessels and 17 Craboral vessels. During the period of the mechanism, 8 factories and 6 vessels were built in the Murmansk region, ”said Dmitry Patrushev.
One of these objects is the Captain Sokolov fishing vessel. On board there is a modern fish processing factory with a capacity of up to 150 tons of frozen fish and canned food per day. Frost equipment of the vessel can provide storage up to 1 thousand tons of fish.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted the innovative structure of the bow of the case. It increases the workspace on the ship, improves its seaworous qualities, increases the durability of the vessel and sailing safety. The most comfortable conditions for living and work of the crew are also created here.
Coordination of work to complete the construction of fishing vessels as part of the implementation of the mechanism for the provision of quotas (catching) of aquatic biological resources for investment purposes is carried out by the Russian government in the framework of incident No. 42 “Fish -free vessels”.
The mechanism “Quotes under the keel” is aimed at stimulating the development of the domestic fishing fleet.
