Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting on the implementation of the regional program of sustainable economic development of energy enterprises and housing and communal services of the Republic of Dagestan.
The event was attended by the head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergey Melikov, representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economic Development, heads of energy companies, representatives of the Dagestan government.
The participants discussed the course of the fulfillment of the President of Russia on the development of the energy of Dagestan, the current status and prospects for the implementation of the regional program of sustainable economic development of energy and housing and communal services enterprises, as well as the implementation of the “roadmap” plan to stabilize the situation in the electricity complex and reliable energy supply of consumers of the Republic of Dagestan.
Sergei Melikov noted that the growth of energy consumption in the region requires further modernization of the electric grid and the creation of the necessary conditions for connecting new infrastructure facilities to networks.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the Federal Headquarters for Stabilization of the situation in the electric grid complex and reliable energy supply of Dagestan continues to work to reduce electricity loss, consolidation of electric grid facilities, increase the payment discipline of consumers of electricity and housing and communal services, eliminating the foci of non -contractual electricity consumption, including identification and identification and identification of and identification The suppression of illegal cryptocurrency mining.
Alexander Novak instructed the Ministry of Energy together with federal and regional executive bodies to develop a comprehensive development program for the energy system of the Republic of Dagestan for the period until 2031, which will provide for measures to modernize and expand the power of the region’s energy capacities in accordance with the increase in the need for electricity against the background of economic growth, population growth and modern tourism infrastructure. The authorities of Dagestan, together with energy companies, were instructed to continue to work to increase the payment discipline of electricity consumers and housing and communal services in Dagestan, improve the consumer accounting system and the debt collection system, including in court. It is also entrusted to continue work on the consolidation of the electric grid and its involvement in economic circulation. The federal authorities have been instructed to work out options for tightening responsibility for illegally joining electric networks and using electricity in energy deficiency regions, including Dagestan.
