“High -quality roads play one of the key roles in the development of the tourism industry, providing access to both popular and new areas, memorable places and unique natural complexes, increasing the safety of movement and comfort of travel. This is especially true today, when domestic tourism is actively developing in the country, including road. Thanks to the national project “Infrastructure for life“ In 2025, we plan to bring about 2 thousand km of regional and local roads leading to the places of tourist inspection, ”said Marat Khusnullin.
The development of domestic tourism is one of the key points of the growth of regions.
“High -quality infrastructure can turn a small settlement into a popular tourist center that annually attracts thousands of visitors. In turn, the development of the hotel business, the restaurant sector and the entertainment sphere provides new jobs, increases the income of local residents and contributes to the general prosperity of the region. This year, on the federal project “Regional and Local Road Network“ Repair Work, will be held at 434 facilities included in tourist routes, ”said Roman Starovoit, Minister of Transport.

In the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, thanks to the national project, the reconstruction of one of the most important regional facilities-the tunnel on the 21st km of Chikol-Matsuta-coma-art. Its length is 269 m. Now experts are finishing the updated artificial structure and prepare it for commissioning.
The route passing along this road provides transport accessibility to one of the most picturesque and environmentally significant regions of the region, opening access to unique natural landscapes, historical and cultural objects and tourist bases of the republic. For example, in the highland part of the Digorsky gorge where the track is located, there are eight tourist bases and climbing camps. In addition, travelers here can visit such cultural and natural monuments as the observation deck “Eagle Nest”, the Karaugo glacier, thermal springs “Tamisk” and the monument to Ustirji.
In the Republic of Crimea, thanks to the national project, the overhaul of the Alushta -Sudak -Theodosius highway lasts 20 km. This is one of the most picturesque routes of Crimea, which runs along the coast and mountains.
In the Kostroma region this year, an entrance to the village of Medvedka with a length of 3.2 km will be repaired. The road connecting the settlement with the Kostroma -Susanino -Bui highway leads to the oldest stud farm, founded in 1891 in the Medvedoks by the merchant Skalozubov. The buildings of stables built here with a unique tent type are not of analogues in Russia, are an architectural monument of federal significance.
