Dmitry Chernyshenko added that in recent years, more than 6.5 thousand new places have been created in schools and kindergartens of Sevastopol. School buildings are repaired and equipped with modern equipment.
The dynamic development of the scientific sphere confirms the national rating of the NTR of Russian entities. Sevastopol rose from 66th to 26th place-the most significant advancement from all regions. Young laboratories are created in the subject, projects are being implemented with the support of the Russian Scientific Fund.
Also, during the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and the head of the city discussed the prospects for creating an international campus of Sevastopol State University.
According to Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev: “What I had already addressed to our President Vladimir Putin, and before that we discussed this several times with you is the possibility of the participation of our Sevastopol University in the third stage in the creation of world -class camps. Our SevU is one of the largest universities in the South of Russia, leading the Scientific and Educational Center of Sevastopol. On its base is the Nutz “Seaagrobiotech”. The structure of the university includes college, a pre-warhead, 13 institutes, including the Institute of Nuclear Energy and Industry, located in the historical building of the Naval School in Holland. It is here, on the north side, in 2025–2035, we plan to create a campus. We have prepared the relevant materials, but, of course, I would like to get your advice and recommendations here, what is best to prepare for this competition. ”
One of the discussions was a youth policy. Thanks to the victories in the competition “Region of good deeds”, more than 30 thousand young people are involved in volunteer activities. They are registered on the “Dobr.rf” platform.
“More than 2.5 thousand volunteers help participants in a special military operation and their families. Within the framework of the national project “Youth and Children”, patriotic events are held. The guys are actively participating in the work centers of the International Volunteer Corps of the 80th anniversary of Victory, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that for Sevastopol the industry of tourism and hospitality is one of the important sectors of the economy. The city is involved in the implementation of the national project “Tourism and hospitality”. The allocated funds also go to the development of modern infrastructure. Due to the high demand for this program, Mikhail Mishustin recently decided to expand and increase financing.
“By decree of the President, the project“ Five Seas and Lake Baikal ”includes Balaklava. It will develop as a year -round sea resort. This will attract even more tourists to the subject, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
When discussing sports issues, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that funds were allocated to the region for the creation of sports infrastructure on Fedrojects “Sports-Life Norm”, “Business Sprint (I choose sports)”, “Development of physical culture and mass sports”.
