The marathon of the finals of the tenth season of the National Technological Olympiad (NTO) – the country’s largest team engineering competitions for schoolchildren and students. More than 380 schoolchildren of 8-11 grades and 70 students became winners and prize-winners.

The Organizational Committee of the Olympiad is headed by the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

“Thanks to the National Technological Olympiad, capable children from all over the country get opportunities for self -realization – in accordance with the national goal set by President Vladimir Putin. The Olympics is taking place for the tenth time. This year she collected about 220 thousand applications, which is 1.5 times more than in the past. The winners and prize -winners were schoolchildren and students from 50 regions of Russia, as well as Belarus. They will be able to get benefits when entering the university and invitations to internships to leading companies, ”Dmitry Chernyshenko emphasized.

A set of measures to create conditions for the realization of the potential of each person and the development of his talents is also provided for by the national project “Youth and Children”.

Schoolchildren-winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad-got the opportunity to earn 100 points of the exam in a profile subject or enter a university without entrance examinations, and victorious students will be able to take advantage of entering the magistracy or undergo an internship in the country’s technological companies.

“The National Technological Olympiad for many years allows you to identify and encourage the best schoolchildren and students. This intellectual competition has gained particular importance in connection with the national goal indicated by the President of Russia – to achieve our country of technological leadership. The Olympiad allows you to involve a talented progressive youth in solving important state problems as early as possible. It is especially pleasant to note that the interest in the event from year to year is only increasing, ”said the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov.

The leader in the number of winners of the Olympiad among subjects this year was St. Petersburg (70 people), the second place in Moscow (63 people), the third place was in the Novosibirsk region (37 people). In the fourth and fifth places – the Moscow region and the Primorsky Territory, respectively.

The tenth season revealed the galaxy of schoolchildren who can prove themselves in several directions at once. So, Artyom Gabdullin from Innopolis became an absolute triumph in three directions – “neurotechnology and cognitive sciences”, “Digital technologies in architecture” and “Nuclear technologies”. Daniil Stukun from Blagoveshchensk also showed high results: he became the winner in the profiles “Water robotics systems” and “Flying Robotics” and the winner in the direction “Big Data and machine learning”. His fellow countryman and saberdress Arseniy Lunsha was among the leaders in these technological areas: he won the “flying robotics” profile and became a winner on the finals “Water robotics systems” and “Big data and machine learning”. Fedor Kileva from Moscow became a winner in the profiles “Analysis of space images and geospatial data” and “Nuclear technologies”, as well as the winner in the direction of “Intellectual Robotics Systems”.

The rector of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics”, Deputy Co -Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the NTO Nikita Anisimov noted that this year the Higher School of Economics became a platform where the final tests of the most popular NTO profiles – “Artificial intelligence” and “Development of computer games” were held. This season, more than 7 thousand schoolchildren registered for each of them.

Among the areas to which schoolchildren of 8-11 grades sent the largest number of applications, includes “artificial intelligence” (the joint profile of the NTO and the Academy of Artificial Intelligence for schoolchildren of the Sberbank charitable foundation “contribution to the future”) and “development of computer games” (implemented in partnership with the Ninsar.games studio, national cybersic platform Berlog, VK Play and VK Education). Also in the leaders in the number of applications-“Automation of business processes” (organized together with 1C). In addition, directions associated with the space industry are popular. Profiles “Analysis of space pictures and geospatial data”, “Aerospace pictures” and “satellite systems” are supported by the Roscosmos State Corporation.

The General Director of the Russian -Country of Opportunities presidential platform, Andrei Betin, called the NTO of the presidential platform a vivid example of how already in school and student years young people can try themselves in solving the most difficult tasks, work in teams, find like -minded people and design their future and future of their country.

The National Technological Olympiad is carried out during the coordination of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, together with the presidential platform “Russia -Country of Opportunities” as part of the national project “Youth and Children” with the support of the “Movement of the First”, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Platform NTI. The NTO project office is deployed on the basis of the Higher School of Economics with the methodological support of the association of participants in technological circles (LTI circular movement).
