In Kaliningrad, the construction of the supporting frame of the Bolshoi Theater branch on the Oktyabrsky island successfully completed. This stage has become the most important milestone in the implementation of the project of the cultural and educational complex. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

“On behalf of the president, we are implementing a large-scale project to create cultural, educational and museum complexes in four Russian cities-Vladivostok, Kemerovo, Sevastopol and Kaliningrad. These unique objects, developed by leading architects and designers of the international level, are real world -class culture centers. Their composition will appear the best theaters, museums, concert halls and creative universities. The scale of the complexes is impressive – the total area exceeds 600 thousand square meters. m, which allows you to take up to 30 thousand visitors at the same time. Including in Kaliningrad a branch of the Bolshoi Theater is being built, which has already celebrated its 249th anniversary. At the new facility as part of the cluster, the construction of the supporting monolith of the building was completed, the facade is ready by 94%, ”said Marat Khusnullin.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the new theater has an original form repeating ballet rotation. The building is distinguished by a unique console with a length of 80 m and a height of 50 m. Now the workers are engaged in the interior decoration of the premises and lay engineering systems.

The building will include three functional zones – this is a public space, a stage complex, office premises. Two auditoriums will provide capacity of 950 and 300 seats, respectively.

As part of the project, which is implemented as part of a large-scale cultural and educational complex, all work on the installation of reinforced concrete structures and installation of metal structures has been completed. The total volume of the laid concrete was about 46 thousand cubic meters, and the mass of mounted metal structures reached more than 6.2 thousand tons.

“We have completed the largest and largest stage in the creation of a supporting monolith of the building. Currently, inside the building, we create more than 10 types of life support systems of the building, the area of ​​which is almost 36 thousand square meters. m. Given that they are all laid along different routes and intersect with each other, it can be confidently argued that the stage of engineering networks is no less responsible and complex. We also continue to work on the installation of the upper mechanization of the large and small visual halls. To withstand scheduled schedules, we work seven days a week in 24/7 mode, ”said Dmitry Rzhannikov, General Director of Stg-West.

The construction of a cultural and educational complex in Kaliningrad is part of a large-scale federal project to create four new cultural centers in Russia, initiated by President Vladimir Putin in 2018. The project is aimed at developing the cultural infrastructure of regions and improving the quality of life of the population.

In addition, as part of the construction of cultural clusters in Sevastopol on Cape Khrustalny, the most important stage in the construction of the Opera and Ballet Theater has successfully completed – the installation of the main metal structures was completed. As part of the work, the builders completed the promotion – they removed safety supports from the visor and a soaring pedestrian console.

For two years, it took specialists for installation of more than 15 thousand tons of metal. A feature of the project was that each element of the metal structure is unique and not repeated. The technical characteristic of a soaring console is also impressive – it withstands a load two times higher than its own weight.

The innovation of the project is supported by the use of modern bridge -building technologies – the entire building is equipped with Russian hinge supports, which ensure the stability of the roof and compensate for the possible movements of the structure.
