Military expert, Brigadier Elias Hanna, said that US President Donald Trump focuses on Iran in the context of the recent US military campaign against Yemen, noting that he is attending deterrence tools in parallel with negotiations with it “on the fire.”
Hanna explained – in his analysis of the military scene in the region – that Iran remains the geopolitical goal of the current US administration because of its association with several issues such as the nuclear file, enlightenings, missiles and support for agents in the region.
According to the military expert, the American president is preparing to deter Iran and send messages to it through the Yemeni scene and hit the Houthis through the “hell strategy”, at a time when Israel benefits from all these developments.
He was summoned to summon American aircraft and send strategic ghost bombers to the region, and they are able to violate approximately 70 meters of armed cement, indicating that the goal remains the Iranian nuclear project.
US President Donald Trump has threatened – in a telephone interview with the NBC network – Iran, with “unparalleled bombing” and imposing secondary customs duties on it if Tehran did not reach an agreement with Washington on its nuclear program.
In turn, Iranian President Masoud Bouchakian said that his country had refused to hold direct negotiations with the United States in response to a message from his American counterpart, on Iran’s nuclear program.
The military expert stressed that, despite the American military campaign, the Houthis did not deter, due to the human and geographical nature in Yemen.
But Hanna said at the same time that the Houthis were no longer as they were before, expressing his conviction that the goal today is to weaken them.
Earlier today, Sunday, the Houthis launched a ballistic missile at Israel, whose army said that its defenses had intercepted it before reaching the Israeli airspace, and the Houthis announced that they had clashed again with the US Navy in the region.
For his part, the Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sari announced the targeting of Ben Gurion Airport with a ballistic missile in support of the Palestinian people, pledging to continue the operations against the occupation, stressing that the American attacks on Yemen will not discourage the group from continuing to support the Palestinians.
