The disclosure of Sara Netanyahu’s correspondence with the director of her husband’s office, the late Hani Belivis, on the “Ovda” program, opened a Pandora’s box, which led the legal advisor to the government, Gali Beharev-Miara, and the state attorney, Amit Isman, to order the opening of an investigation against Sara Netanyahu, on suspicion of exerting improper pressure on civil servants and deposing witnesses.
The response was not long in coming. As if by magic, in less than 24 hours an orchestrated attack on Bharb-Miara began. Improper pressure on a civil servant, who ordered an investigation to be opened on suspicion of improper pressure on civil servants, reminded me of the parable of the scorpion and the frog.
