Israel always launches other hidden wars that go in parallel with the killings, destruction and the war of extermination, as it has been customary in its practices in all its previous wars.
The “Observatory” – in its episode on (14/4/1424) – traced what the Israeli occupation army committed against the monuments in the Gaza Strip, on a systematic sabotage that affected dozens of historical and religious sites and buildings that turned into rubble.
This operation is one of the widest sabotage of a huge Palestinian cultural and human heritage, and an open attempt to exterminate the ancient cultural identity of Gaza City, as mosques, churches, museums, cultural centers and public libraries were destroyed.
The director of the Sites and Exploration Department at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Hammoud Al -Dahdar, says that Gaza is one of the most important and oldest cities in the world, and it returns to the Canaanite era.
According to Al -Dahdar’s speech to Al -Marsad, Gaza includes more than 70% of the monuments at the Gaza Strip, revealing that 316 historical and heritage sites were damaged by the Israeli war.
The occupation completely destroyed 11 historic mosques out of 14, in addition to the destruction of the Pasha Palace Museum, which includes archaeological pieces belonging to the Palestinian people and before the Ottoman era, according to Al -Dahdar.
The Director of the Sites and Exploration Department at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities revealed ongoing search operations for any artifacts and historical pieces for the museum, which included more than 70 thousand artifacts.
In turn, the director of the Pasha Palace Museum, Nariman, said that the palace dates back to the end of the Mamluk state and the beginning of the Ottoman Empire, and was used for the rule of Gaza.
Khalla told Al -Marsad that the Palace Museum was opened in 2010, and it included many artifacts dating back to the Greek, Byzantine, Roman, etc., noting that the occupation destroyed the place and washed away during its crushing in the Al -Darj neighborhood, east of Gaza in late 2023.
For his part, the writer and novelist Yusri Al -Ghoul stressed that the Israeli occupation deliberately destroyed the cultural component to falsify the historical awareness of the Palestinian citizen and his presence on this occupied land.
Death under the feet
In its second story, the “Observatory” dealt with the endless crimes of wars, as this year passes half a century at the end of the Vietnam War, but the results of that war are still continuing to this day.
Mine still reap the lives of many, and the chemicals that rained the fields distorting the bodies and destroying the earth. At a time when death threatens millions of civilians under the feet, efforts to remove mine are stumbled due to lack of financing, and international organizations abandoned that task.
Reviving the International Day of Mine Rights Awareness, the United Nations warned that 100 million people around the world are threatened with the danger of irritable wars and ammunition.
Mine map extends across large regions of the world, as the Balkans continue to wipe the fields and forests 30 years after the end of the war.
While millions of cluster bombs that Israel have planted in Lebanon constitute a silent killer who is waiting for civilians, mines in Afghanistan cause many and hindered numbers, especially children.
