Al -Jazeera correspondent reported two explosions in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, at dawn on Sunday, while local media said that “Israeli air strikes targeted the Hiziz power plant south of Sanaa.”
Reuters quoted eyewitnesses as saying that they had heard at least two explosions near a power station in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.
In the first official comment, a member of the political bureau of the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) said the Assad belt in a tweet on his account on X, “An enemy is a criminal and bankrupt, who only targets service facilities and civilian notables: electricity, water …”.
The Israeli raids on Yemen began in July 2024, targeting vital facilities, including the port of Hodeidah and Sana’a International Airport.
On the other hand, the Houthi group, in support of Gaza, launches continuous attacks on Israel using rockets and aircraft, and targeting the ships associated with them or heading towards it.
With American support, Israel has committed since October 7, 2023 genocide in the Gaza Strip, leaving 61,897 martyrs and 155 thousand and 660 injured Palestinians, most of them children and women, and more than 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands of displaced people, and the famine that has been tired of 251 people, including 108 children.
