Recently, as part of Yad Vashem’s “Film Club”, I watched “Führer UND VERFühr” which deals with Ravis, Gweli, the propaganda minister of Adolf Hitler. The film is intense, creepy, shocking and scary. You see how much Hitler wants in the war, and as much as possible. Alongside him, Gables stood, who aspired to want Hitler – a megalomaniac in his own right as well as a brilliant infection.
Gables realized how easy it was to change public opinion and did so again and again, even when doubted goals. Not that, too, it was evident that while cooking lies and in reality, he himself was persuaded in the truths of the fruit of his work, until his suicide.
