Al -Jazeera correspondent reported that the deaths and wounded of the Israeli raids were renewed on sites and gatherings of Syrian security in As -Suwayda and its surroundings, amid news of an American request to Israel to stop its attacks on the Syrian army in southern Syria.
Al -Jazeera correspondent said that Israeli raids had caused injuries among the Syrian security forces. One of the raids targeted the police leadership in the city of As -Suwayda.
The Israeli army also broadcast scenes that it said was the raids that were launched on Tuesday morning, targeting sites in the provinces of As -Suwayda and the countryside of Daraa, in the south of the country. These scenes showed the targeting of military vehicles and locations of the Syrian security forces.
An American request to Israel
This, and the Axius news website, yesterday, Tuesday, quoted a US official that the administration of President Donald Trump asked Israel to stop attacking the Syrian army forces in the south of the country.
The American source added that Israel promised Washington to stop its attacks on the Syrian army, starting on Tuesday evening.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – who is required for the International Criminal Court – and his defense minister Yisrael Katz, had ordered the army to launch an attack on the Syrian regime forces in As -Suwayda, and the weapons that were entered into the province.
For his part, the US envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, said that the United States is actively involved with all parties in Syria to go into calm and continued constructive integration discussions.
He added – in a tweet on the X platform – that the recent clashes in the endosperm are concerned about all sides, noting that Washington is seeking to reach a peaceful and comprehensive solution that takes into account the interests of the Druze, Bedouin tribes, the Syrian government and the Israeli forces.
Continuing clashes
On the other hand, the Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the continuation of clashes in some neighborhoods of the city of As -Suwayda, in light of the relentless efforts made by the government in coordination with the elders and notables of the endosperm, to restore stability.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior indicated that it was previously able to expel those who described them out of the law from the city center of As -Suwayda, securing civilians, and restoring stability to the city.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior said that the commander of the internal security in As -Suwayda met a number of clerics and dignitaries of the city, and it was agreed to fix security points inside the city, and the military vehicles were withdrawn in response to the desire of the people and to enhance the calm.
She added that these understandings quickly violated and returned from their name “outlawed armed groups” to launch treacherous attacks on police officers.
The Syrian Interior stated that the Israeli occupation planes launched air strikes in support of these groups, and targeted the locations of the deployment of security and military forces, and this resulted in the death of a number of members of the Internal Security Forces and the Syrian army.
For his part, the Commander of the Internal Security in As -Suwayda, Brigadier General Ahmed Al -Dalati, said that the entry of security forces into the city was an imperative to ensure the regime’s restoration and security control.
Dalati indicated – during a meeting with the elders of the province – that the army re -concentrated it outside the city, with full responsibility for any violations that may have occurred during the operation.
The forces of the defense and internal ministries entered the city of As -Suwayda in an attempt to extend control of the troubled neighborhoods to maintain security and restore stability.
