The occupation army said in a statement that its forces intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, which crossed into Israel early on Wednesday morning.
The army added that sirens were activated due to the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception operation.
He stated in a post on the X platform, “For the fifth time in a week, millions of Israelis rushed to shelters” as the Houthis in Yemen launched a missile attack.
The Israeli ambulance said that 9 were injured during the stampede towards shelters after a missile was fired from Yemen.
Israeli Channel 12 also reported that fragments of an interceptor missile fell into a house in Be’er Ya’akov in central Israel.
The Houthi group repeatedly launches marches and missiles towards Israel, saying that it comes in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza, who have been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, which left more than 153,000 martyrs and wounded.
