From the destruction of the war to the winter of winter .. The rain sinks the tents of the displaced in Gaza news

The heavy rains that fell on the governorates of the Gaza Strip surrounded the suffering of tens of thousands of Palestinians who destroyed the Israeli genocide war, in light of the impact of an air depression hitting the Palestinian territories.

The rains – which fell at night hours – were flooded with tents and shelters in the north and south of Gaza, which increased the difficult humanitarian conditions of the Palestinians who reside in tents over the ruins of their destroyed homes.

Wind and strong winds

Palestinian displaced people face harsh conditions in a severe cold and strong winds, where thousands live in tents made of nylon and thin fabric and lack the lowest elements of rain and storm protection.

In the early morning hours, where temperatures decrease to low levels, these Palestinians lack the most basic elements of protection from severe cold, risk of storms and heavy rains that have increased their suffering inside the camps scattered across the sector.

Those who have returned to the northern sector face difficulties in erecting their tents and fixing them under unfavorable climate conditions, in addition to the acute shortage of food and lack of heating materials.

Lack of heating means

Al -Jazeera correspondent explained that the water caused material damage to property and covers, which increased the difficulty of the humanitarian conditions inside the temporary camps, as the Palestinians in Gaza suffer from a severe shortage of covers, winter clothes and heating means.

In separate areas in Gaza – especially the northern Gaza Strip, where Jabalia, Baladi Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun – the survivors of the extermination between the ruins of their destroyed homes reside, and they resorted to primitive tents made of fabric and nylon.

In addition, the Palestinians whose homes have been destroyed on roads, playgrounds, public squares and schools reside, without any means that protect them from cold and storms.

The Palestinians in the sector are facing difficult conditions with the continued Israeli blockade that prevents the introduction of basic materials, including heating, tents, and mobile houses that protect from rain and cold.

It exacerbates the absence of the crisis fuel, as the families find themselves unable to secure any means of heating in light of the low temperatures at night.

Delaying aid

On Tuesday, a spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Hazem Qassem, said that Israel is alarm in the implementation of the humanitarian path from the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, by intentionally delaying the entry of the most important requirements, especially what is related to the shelter and fuel supplies and heavy equipment to raise the rubble.

Yesterday, Wednesday, civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Balaas said that the Palestinians in the Strip are living in tragic humanitarian conditions, as tens of thousands of them have to stay in the open without shelter or the elements of life, in light of the destruction left by the Israeli genocide.

Bella added that the sector is exposed to several air depressions, which is extremely dangerous for the lives of hundreds of thousands of citizens who live in tents or homes that fall, in light of the severe cold and heavy rains.

According to the government media office in Gaza, Israel has destroyed more than 15 months of genocide about 88% of infrastructure in the Strip, including homes, vital and service facilities.

On January 19, a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel began in force, including 3 stages, each of which lasts 42 days, and during the first, negotiation will be made to start the second and third stages by Egypt and Qatar and support the United States.

With American support, Israel committed between October 7, 2023 and January 19, 2025 genocide in Gaza, leaving more than 159,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded – most of them children and women – and more than 14,000 missing.
