Bnei Gantz’s speech recently (on May 29), at the Berl Katznelson’s annual conference was not just another political performance. It was a rare moment of authenticity, at least it seems, in which a senior politician faced an audience he did not want to listen, and the garden – not his attitudes – but about the very idea of national responsibility, of a fate, one non -tribal state, even when the tribes scream.
Those who expected the show of elections actually received a citizenship lesson. In a true democratic concept that sees in all parts of the people with equal voting rights. Real liberalism that may not have to agree, but must listen to everyone.
