The Trump effect quickly influenced Israeli politics. The new 47th President of the United States, Donald Jay Trump, has already been able to get right and praise from the left. These came when he led to a deal with Hamas, which included a ceasefire and release of Palestinian terrorists for the benefit of the Israeli kidnappers, a deal that the right resisted from the beginning of the war.
The reactions to Trump’s opening shooting did not only come from some point of disappointment with American policy that affect Israel, but the left felt backing from the elected president and the sensitive right was betrayed.
