“Esther” .. an American project to suppress the supporters of Palestine inspired by a biblical legend Encyclopedia

A project launched by the “Heritage” Foundation, which is a comprehensive strategic plan to combat what was called “anti -Semitism” in the United States of America, and considered it part of a global network that supports “terrorism”. The project focuses on criminalizing activities in support of the Palestinian issue, restricting the liberal institutions that provide it with financial support, and calls for the involvement of the federal government and the private sector in implementing strict measures that include preventing demonstrations, and the deportation or imprisonment of activists opposed to Israeli policies.

Project content

It is a strategic plan launched by the Heritage Foundation (Heritage Corporation) on October 7, 2024, coinciding with the first anniversary of the Al -Aqsa Flood attack launched by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip on cover settlements on October 7, 2023.

The “Esther” project aims to combat what it describes as “anti -Semitism” in the United States by taking strict measures against what was called the “Islamic Resistance Movement” network (Hamas), which includes liberal institutions and anti -Zionist organizations.

The “Heritage” Foundation called through this project the federal government to direct its attention to “anti -Israel, Zionist and anti -America groups”, and described it as a network for “supporting terrorism”, similar to it to the “German -American Union” that supported Nazi Germany in the thirties of the 20th century.

The project seeks to organize and unify the efforts of all able partners who wish to combat “anti -Semitism” within the United States, through a coordinated plan that employ all available resources, and those responsible for it hope that the project will be an opportunity to enhance the partnership between the public and private sectors, especially with the arrival of an administration compatible with this vision to the White House.

Project vision

The project authors believe that “anti -Semitism” is a phenomenon that is rooted in American society, and that the attack of October 7, 2023, carried out by Hamas, revealed the extent of the spread of this phenomenon globally, including within the United States.

According to what was published by the “Heritage” Foundation on the project, the pro -Palestine movement in America is not limited to being a support campaign, but it is part of a global network that seeks to support Hamas, and then “support terrorism”, as you see that the “Esther” project is A comprehensive framework to combat what it considers an internal and external security threat, and focuses on restricting the influence of the pro -Palestine groups, which he considers “supportive of terrorism”.

Naming

The project employs a religious symbolism in its name to justify its repressive campaigns against the voices supporting Palestine, inspired by its name from a biblical story mentioned in “Book of Esther”, which took place in Persia during the fifth century BC, telling about Esther, a Jewish woman adopted by her cousin Mordechai, then she became a wife of King Hashawirouche.

The story adds that the Jews were subjected to a conspiracy from Haman, the king’s advisor, and planned to annihilate them after Mordechai refused to bow to him.

At the request of Mordechai, Esther interfered with the king despite her fear of killing, and she succeeded in changing the decision, which led to the execution of Haman and the issuance of a decree to protect the Jews of the empire.

Strategy and goals

The project plan aims to criminalize the activities supporting Palestine, and to reduce the impact of liberal organizations that provide financial support, by involving the federal government and the private sector in implementing a plan aimed at preventing demonstrations, in addition to deporting or imprisoning activists.

It seeks to dismantle what the project considers “infrastructure that supports anti -Semitism”, and to achieve its goals in a period ranging between 12 and 24 months.

The project reflects an alliance between the far -right and evangelical Christians, in light of the decline in popular support for Israel in the United States.

Despite this, the project faces many challenges, including the absence of support from major Jewish organizations, in addition to the remarkable change in American public opinion in favor of the Palestinian issue, especially after the Al -Aqsa Flood Operation.
