Israel is ruled by an illegitimate government. Starting with the announcement of the coup d’état and certainly since the swearing-in in October 2023. But as we come to know time and time again in the face of its actions, threats voiced by some of its members and its persecution of the gatekeepers and the Israeli public protected by them – it is not only illegitimate but also criminal.
There are those in the government who are offended when it is compared to a criminal organization. Rest assured: I have known many criminal organizations, in Israel and abroad: the Israeli government is worse and more dangerous than any of them.
