In the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed and dozens were wounded by the occupation forces’ fire while trying to reach one of the aid distribution centers west of the city of Rafah.
Meanwhile, Palestinians in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, had a number of martyrs from Nasser Hospital in the city.
Disliked area
On the humanitarian level, the municipality of Khuza’a, east of Khan Yunis, announced that the town is an entirely disaster area.
The municipality of Khuza’a said that the direct Israeli targeting and bombing affected the various components of life in the town, where the houses were settled in the land, and the occupation also destroyed the health and educational facilities and the infrastructure in full destruction.
She added that the town’s residents were forced to displace the bombing while they were dispersed in different areas, amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions.
A few days ago, Israeli websites published pictures of the town showing the settlement of all buildings on the ground.
In turn, the director of the Al -Shifa Medical Complex of the island said that the hospital is working with 20% of its energy, due to the destruction of the occupation system in the sector.
He added that the situation is tragic, noting that every day kidney patients die due to the inability to treat, and international organizations are trying hard to provide assistance, but the occupation prevents the entry of aid.
Familiar deaths
In turn, the regional director of the World Health Organization of the eastern Mediterranean region, Hanan Belki, said that Gaza children are dying as a result of the hunger and famine, which reached very high levels, as a result of the suffocating Israeli siege, as deaths occur between adults and children due to lack of food and medicine.
She added that the famine in Gaza has reached very high levels, and people in desperate need of food and basic nutrition, and children also die because of hunger.
Since last March 2, Israel continues a systematic starvation policy for about 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza, by closing the crossings for a period of 90 days in the face of the aid dominated at the border, which entered the sector of starvation and claimed the lives of many.
18 years ago, Israel has besieged Gaza, and about 1.5 million Palestinians have become homeless after the extermination war has destroyed their homes.
On the health conditions in the Gaza Strip, Belki said that people live in a very difficult healthy environment, hygiene is the basis of health, and it is absent in Gaza.
She added that health care systems suffer from a collapse, as only a few hospitals provide partial or limited services, and there is a real shortage of resources.
And it increased that 42% of the main drugs and the main vaccines were completely ran out, and about 64% of the medical equipment were also running out.
Balkhi indicated that there are health cadres with great ability to withstand Gaza, and that they are doing their best with the few capabilities available to them.
The official touched on the health aid necessary for Gaza, noting the emergence of diseases such as rash, pneumonia, multiple infections and post -trauma disorder.
And almost daily since Tuesday, martyrs have been recorded by Israeli shot in the ranks of the hungry Palestinians, who are heading to receive American aid from the distribution points supervised by the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”.
Restrictions in front of aid
Balkhi pointed to the difficulties facing the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza by saying we have about 51 trucks waiting on the border to deliver more assistance, we are trying to deliver what is in the warehouses of the World Health Organization to some areas.
We added, we are facing difficulty in delivering 51 trucks to Gaza, and the food that arrived after the eleventh week of the Israeli siege is not enough to meet the needs.
For his part, Tom Fletcher, Undersecretary of the Secretary -General For the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs, the international organization has a plan to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza on a large scale.
Fletcher added that the conditions are difficult, but the United Nations knows how to deliver aid.
For his part, Philip Lazarini, Commissioner -General of the Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), said that there is something that he called a game to exchange blame, while the residents of Gaza suffer from hunger and try to survive the violent bombing.
He added that what reports of sending 900 aid trucks to Gaza within two weeks make up only 10% of the daily needs.
Lazarini believed that the aid sent to Gaza is currently an insult to the size of the group tragedy that is revealed in front of everyone’s eyes.
He stressed that the famine in Gaza can be stopped, and it takes only a political will, adding that they are not demanding the impossible.
Lazarini called on the United Nations to do its work in helping the needy in Gaza and maintain their dignity.
Tel Aviv has ruled out the United Nations and international relief organizations, and assigned the “Gaza Humanitarian Corporation” – the American and Israeli, and the internationally rejected – tasked with the distribution of very scarce aid in areas in the southern Gaza Strip, to force the Palestinians to displace the north and empty it.
