Biglu and Van Saint returns through Venice … and the stories of politics and madness present art


After many years of absence from the screens, the brilliance in the American cinema, director Gas van Saint and director Catherine Beglo, returns to the spotlight, as each of them keeps pace with his movie at the Venice Film Festival.

Beglo has not participated in any work since the 2017 Detroit movie, which deals with the riots that occurred in 1967 and how local police officers treated with them.

With the movie “A House of Dynamite” participating in the official competition, the director presents a political teaser that revolves in the White House, and is the launch of an unknown enemy a nuclear missile towards the United States. It is starring Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson.

“I hope the film will not cause great concern, despite realizing that we live in a difficult stage, and some discomfort may be inevitable,” said Van Saint, the winner of the Golden Parachis Award at the 2003 Cannes Festival for Elephant.

The film will be shown later at the Toronto International Film Festival, but the date of its presentation in the halls has not yet been determined.
