Another petition to open the siege on Gaza

In 2010, a widespread forest burnt broke out in Carmel. At the flesh, 44 people perished, about 17,000 people were evacuated from their homes and millions of trees were on fire. The burnt died in forest, woods, and residential homes from Carmel Park and the localities around it, an area that extends to Asaf, the Dania neighborhood of Haifa, Tirat Carmel, Megadim, Artist Ein Hod, Kfar Zvi Citrin and Ein Hod.

The Israeli government was asked to investigate the issue through the establishment of a state investigative committee, but that was not established. In June 2012, the State Comptroller submitted a test report on the Carmel Flame and Fire and Rescue Services in Israel.
