Indian Railways’ freight traffic is growing rapidly due to strengthening of business development units in zones and divisions, constant communication with industries and customers providing logistics services and faster pace.

Attention also needs to be paid to the fact that the Covid pandemic has been used as an opportunity by Indian Railways to improve its all-round capacity and performance.
