Al -Houthi announces the targeting of an American aircraft carrier in the north of the Red Sea news

The Ansar Allah group (the Houthis) in Yemen announced, on Friday evening, the implementation of a joint military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier “Harry Truman” in the north of the Red Sea using a number of winged missiles and drones.

“The missile force, the walking air force, and the Yemeni naval forces targeted during the past hours, the carrier of the American aircraft Truman, with a number of missiles and drones,” said the group’s military spokesman, Yahya Sari, in a video statement.

Sari explained that the attack came in response to the American aggression against Yemen, and stressed that the Yemeni armed forces are continuing to carry out their duties “on land and sea”, and that repeated American strikes did not affect their combat capabilities.

On the other hand, US aircraft launched a series of air strikes on Fridays on residential and agricultural areas in the capital, Sanaa. Al -Masirah channel of the Houthi reported that 5 raids targeted the Bani Hashish district, east of Sanaa, and caused severe material damage to public and private property.

Anatolia has documented hundreds of American raids on Yemeni soil since March 15, killing 116 civilians and wounding 224 others, including women and children, according to Houthi data.

These developments come after US President Donald Trump issued orders to launch a massive military attack on the Houthis, vowing to “completely eliminate” them in the wake of the escalation of their attacks on American and Israeli ships in the Red Sea, and their continued targeting of sites inside Israel.

A march objection

In a related context, the Israeli army announced that its air defenses had intercepted a drone fired from Yemen towards Israeli territory, in a new development within the series of the group’s attacks targeting Israel since the war on Gaza began.

“The Israeli Air Force intercepted a drone that was on its way from the east towards Israel”, without providing further details about the objection site or the volume of possible damage.

The Houthi group continued for months to target ships heading to Israeli ports in an attempt to impose a “nautical ban”, in response to the continuation of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, and an expression of its support for the Palestinians.
