First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov visited the industrial sites of Fryazin near Moscow: the innovative technology park “Istok – RTU MIREA”, the research and production enterprise “Istok” named after A.I. Shokin and “VPG Lazeruan”.
The innovative technology park “Istok – RTU MIREA” was built with the support of the Rostec state corporation. Educational space with an area of more than 3.7 thousand square meters. m is equipped with modern laboratories, as well as a training ground for UAVs, a cyberdrome and an arena for the “Battle of Robots”. Here, practice-oriented training will be conducted for schoolchildren and students for enterprises in the radio-electronic industry, including within the framework of the educational and professional track “Rostec Code”.
The technology park was created within the structure of the advanced engineering school of microwave electronics with the participation of the Istok Research and Production Enterprise named after Shokin (part of the Rosel holding of the Rostec state corporation) together with RTU MIREA. The educational complex is equipped with modern laboratories for the study of natural sciences, information technology, radio electronics, design fundamentals, 3D printing, computer modeling, unit assembly, and automation. Students will also have access to courses in programming in different languages, cybersecurity, design of electronic products, circuit design, smart home systems, chemistry, materials science and other areas. In addition, the technology park has an e-sports center and training grounds for drone and robot competitions.
Here, schoolchildren and students will undergo internships and participate in the implementation of projects in the interests of Rostec enterprises. Successful projects and developments will be introduced into real production at the training stage. This approach promotes the development of thinking focused on innovative results and unlocking the potential of each student.
“The technology park will become a forge for a new generation of engineers with advanced practical knowledge in the field of microwave electronics. Today it is one of the key competencies for industry and engineering. Educational programs here will be based on real cases and tasks of enterprises, which means that schoolchildren and students from the very first steps will be involved in work directly related to the needs of production. Experienced specialists from the state corporation will become mentors for them. This approach will make it possible to form personnel with honed practical skills already from school and college. As a result, enterprises will receive specialists who understand the needs of the industry and are ready to create breakthrough solutions for the country, ensuring its technological independence,” noted Denis Manturov.
“Radio electronics is one of the key industries for the country, and its development is impossible without a strong school. The technology park will become a platform where the foundation of engineering education is formed, and therefore the basis for future technological breakthroughs. Here the children have a chance not only to gain a theoretical basis, but also to master the practical skills necessary in real production. For example, at school they can assemble devices of varying complexity with their own hands – from a radio receiver to a robot – and write programs to control them. Here the guys will understand that our industry is an exciting and promising business,” emphasized Sergei Sakhnenko, General Director of the Rosal Holding, a member of the bureau of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia.
The First Deputy Prime Minister also visited the production site of the Istok Research and Production Enterprise named after Shokin, where the development and serial production of modern and promising electronic products and radio equipment is carried out.
During the working trip, Denis Manturov also inspected the production site of VPG Lazeruan. This modern, dynamically developing enterprise specializes in the production of laser and fiber technology and produces lasers and technological systems for all areas of industry, science and medicine. Denis Manturov was shown installations for laser welding, glass cutting, pipe processing, surgical and cosmetic lasers. The company supplies its products to almost all regions of Russia, and is also actively expanding its presence in the foreign market, exporting it to friendly countries in Asia and the Middle East.
