In Yakutsk, the third All-Russian shooting tournament in distant distances dedicated to the memory of the legendary sniper of the Great Patriotic War, Hero of the Soviet Union Fedor Matveevich Okhlopkov is taking place in Yakutsk in the Sulus training center. More than 120 people came to the tournament, including participants in a special military operation. Competitions are held in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The tournament is held under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister – Plenipotentiary of the President to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev. The event was organized by the apparatus of the President’s plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Russian Federation of Combat Sniping of Russia, the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Center for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education “Warrior”.

The deputy chairman of the government, Presidential Presidential Representative to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev and the head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Aisen Nikolaev, addressed the participants in the competition.

“For the third time, we meet at the tournament in memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Fedor Matveevich Okhlopkov here, on the hospitable Yakut land. I want to bow to those participants who came from the zone of a special military operation, directly from the combat contact line. Thank you. Why are we holding this tournament? We want a platform where you can exchange the secrets of the complex and important art of snipers for our country. When we created this tournament, we thought about how to make it balanced. We tried to ensure that the best arrows came here and that they had a growth site, so that there was a distance for development. It seems to me that it turns out. The number of qualified qualifications since last year has already doubled, but not everyone managed to take part in the qualification stage yet. This means that there is a reserve and the number of those who have passed in the main part of the tournament can still grow. I want to separately thank Aisen Sergeyevich for a great job. It is also connected with sniper art, which, it seems to me, sprouted into the Yakut land roots. And recently, the team of the regional branch of the Center “Warrior“ Warrior “The Warrior Center“ In Yakutia to Protection of the Motherland ”was released in the final of the All-Russian military-tactical competitions,” said Yuri Trutnev.

Today, our guys, along with all the Russians, fight on the fronts of a special military operation, defending the freedom of our country, fighting fascism. Competitions will educate patriotism in the inhabitants of our country, the ability to follow traditions, to be ready to always protect their homeland, ”said Aisen Nikolaev.

The parade of the participants was built by the Hero of Russia, the Guard Lieutenant Colonel, Deputy Chief Judge of the All -Russian shooting tournament for long -distance memory of Fedor Okhlopkov Yaroslav Yakubov. The Hero of Russia, General Director of the Sulus Education and Racing Center, Alexander Kolesov, took part in the solemn event.

Representatives of the Center “Warrior” take part in the tournament. Dmitry Poloskov and Nikolai Zimin, head and deputy head of the Sniping Direct, will become judges in the discipline of “combat sniping”. For the victory, the assistant to the head of the “Sniping” direction of the Center “Warrior” Konstantin Puchkov will compete. Note that the Center “Warrior” entered the educational programs in 2025. The training of a new discipline was first conducted as part of the summer shifts of the “Time of Young Heroes”. There is an agreement on cooperation between the Center “Warrior” and the Federation of Combat Sniping of Russia.

Military personnel, employees of law enforcement agencies, and the instructions of the training centers of power structures and civil arrows are allowed to participate in the highway shooting tournament.

The championship takes place in two modes (“day” and “night”) in the form of a championship in a sniper couple, one of the participants of which is a shooter, and the second is an observer-correspondent. All participants compete in equal terms, regardless of the presence of sports discharges, the position, gender and age. Winners and prize -winners will be awarded special and cash prizes.

At the site of the tournament, an exhibition was organized, in which various enterprises and organizations take part, including the Kalashnikov concern (Moscow), the Russian Bart Sniping Federation, Daedal-NV JSC (Moscow).

The tournament is held in the Sulus educational and shooting center, built on behalf of Yuri Trutnev. “Sulus” is one of the best in the country in terms of its technical parameters. In the training center, which is headed by the Hero of Russia Alexander Kolesov, civilians, employees of law enforcement agencies and specialized organizations are trained and advanced. They are trained in the technique of safe handling of weapons and firing skills at long -range distances.
