Above power .. Egyptian brigade: the displacement of Gazans ends peace and declares war policy

The “Above Power” program in episode (9/2025/12) highlighted the tension of Egyptian -Israeli relations and the “red line” that Cairo has set for Tel Aviv regarding the displacement of Gazans and the statements of military experts in response to Netanyahu.

The episode presented a video clip in which the Egyptian military expert, Major General Nasser Salem, said that the expulsion of the Palestinians to Egypt ends the peace treaty and declares the war, stressing that there is no prejudice to the borders of Egypt in any way.

According to Salem, it is not a condition that the attack on the borders of Egypt be with military forces, noting that forcibly displacement of civilians to the Egyptian border is considered an attack on Cairo and a violation of the peace treaty.

He stressed that Egypt will not adhere to this treaty and will be in a solution if Israel violates it, stressing the need for Netanyahu to absorb this equation well.

Netanyahu had claimed that he was defending the “free will” of the residents of Gaza, accusing Egypt of depriving the Palestinians of their primary right to flee a war area.

However, Cairo explained his statements as an attempt to justify the consequences of Israel’s actions in Gaza, and to download Egypt the burden of the humanitarian crisis resulting from that.

Netanyahu also directed a threat to Qatar and the countries hosting leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), calling on them to expel them “or that Israel will do so.”

Israel launched an aggression against Qatar, last Tuesday, in which it targeted a number of Hamas leaders who were looking into an American proposal to end the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip for nearly two years, and the aggression resulted in the death of 5 Palestinians and an element of Qatari internal security.

The American “CNN” network quoted an Egyptian official as saying that Egypt “sent a message to the United States that any Israeli attempts to work on Egyptian soil, such as the raids that targeted Doha, would have serious consequences.”

In the same context, the adviser at the Egyptian Leadership and Staff College, Major General Osama Kabir Netanyahu, vowed if he approached the red line that Egypt drew for him.

During a television interview, Kabir affirmed that his country will take action “discipline Israel and teach it a lesson and make it prohibit approaching this line and not bypassing it.”

Egypt and Israel signed a White House peace agreement in March 1979, months after a framework for peace in Camp David presidential resort in the United States in September 1978.
