On the eve of the anniversary, tenth eastern economic forum on the central square of the Far Eastern capital (Revolution Fighters), an exhibition of photographs of the finalists of the second season of the All -Russian competition for the best journey through the Far East – the Earth of Adventures ”was opened. The initiator of the competition was the deputy chairman of the government – plenipotentiary representative of the president to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev.

“Thousands of people from dozens of countries will gather at the site of the Eastern Economic Forum. Those who want to recognize the Far East will come to invest in the development of the macro -region, travel and get acquainted with unique nature. The Far East is striking in its diversity. These are the Arctic harsh lands, tundra and taiga, sleeping and acting volcanoes of Kamchatka and the Kuril Islands, the deepest lake in the world – the sacred Baikal, the Channel Islands of the Khabarovsk Territory, the unique flora and fauna. Participants in the competition “The Far East – the Earth of Adventures“ create films about the beauty of nature, endurance and strength of the spirit of people, the complexity of tourist routes. The exhibition talks about these travels and invites you to see the beauty of the Far East with its own eyes, ”said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Chairman of the Government, Deputy Chairman of the Government.

The photo exhibition will allow guests to see the pristine nature of the Far East, climb the mountains and volcanoes, swim with huge whales, enjoy the ringing silence of the winter taiga, the freshness of the sea wind and unique sunsets. On each layout there is a QR code, after scanning using a mobile device, you can see a short film that was shot by the finalist of the competition, as well as find out the details of the route.

As part of the photo exhibition, two works shot in Kamchatka are presented – these are materials from Vyacheslav Borisovsky and Dmitry Tyapkin. The frames of Viktor Kitsan and Lydia Anisimova from traveling in the Primorsky Territory, and the photo work of Buda Tsydypov and Elikhan Batotsirenov – from the Republic of Buryatia. Mikhail Neogodin and Valentin Morozov chose the Khabarovsk Territory for the filming of the film, and Pavel Filyakov and Ilya Sile – the Amur Region. Nikolai Pytlyak and Yegor Dyakonov presented a photo from the Trans -Baikal Territory. Olesya Marunchenko and Nikita Bereznyakov traveled to Chukotka, Denis Shevchenko – in the Magadan region, Nina Sleptsova – in Yakutia. But most of all photos from traveling in the Sakhalin region. They were represented by Valery Reitenberg, Anastasia Kolonskaya, Grigory Gorchakov. The film-holder of the Grand Prix Ilya Bolshakov about traveling to the unique volcano of Krenitsyn also from the Sakhalin Region, he was shot on the island of the Onekotan of the Kuril ridge.

Now the III season of the competition “Far East – the Earth of Adventures” is held. The jury received 214 short films.

Most of the applications in the nomination “walking” – 141 film. The nomination “Water Journey” received 37 video works, “Winter Journey” – 22, “Arctic journey” – 14 films.

In terms of the number of films received for a competition among the regions, the Sakhalin Region leads – 86 video works. The second place near the Khabarovsk Territory is 39 films, the Amur Region and the Jewish Autonomous Region – 16 and 15 films, respectively. 13 works came about traveling in Kamchatka and Primorye. For six works, the jury came from Yakutia, Buryatia, the Magadan region. Three works and two of Chukotka came from Transbaikalia.

The jury also evaluates work from the Arctic regions. Three films about traveling to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug were sent to the competition, two about traveling in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and one at a time about adventures in the Murmansk region and Karelia.

Most of the work was sent to the competition by residents of the Far Eastern regions, but there are already seven participants living outside the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic.

In order to take part in the III season of the All -Russian competition for the best journey “Far East – Earth of Adventures”, it is necessary to make a short film up to 8 minutes about your trip to the Far East or to the Arctic and send it through the traveler.rf website until January 15, 2026.

The competition takes place in four main nominations: walking, water trip, winter trip, Arctic journey. In addition, two special nominations were established: “Trips of Victory” and “The Best Journey through Chukotka”. The main prize for the best video is 3 million rubles.

The competition is supported by the apparatus of the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Ministry of Health of Russia, JSC “Corporation of the Development of the Far East and the Arctic” and the NPO “Fund for the Development of Social Initiatives”.
