Dmitry Patrushev, deputy chairman of the government, visited the Chuvash Republic with a working trip, examined the facilities built as part of the Ecology national project, and held a meeting to ensure environmental well -being in the region. “The Chuvash Republic is actively involved in environmental activities. In the framework of the national project “Ecology, the Russian government allocated about 3.5 billion rubles to their support. Thanks to this, three waste management complexes were introduced, a number of landfills and objects of accumulated harm were eliminated, treatment and storm structures on the Volga were built and reconstructed. Work continues and through the national project“ Environmental prosperity “Ecological well -being“. Events are also aimed at preserving the preservation of the conservation of. Water resources and forest fund, as well as to create a modern waste management infrastructure, ”said Dmitry Patrushev.
During the implementation of the national project “Ecology” Chuvashia introduced six treatment facilities on the Volga. The work one more object continues. According to the results of his visit, Dmitry Patrushev set the task to quickly prepare a detailed step-by-step plan for the completion of construction and installation works and then control its performance at the level of the head of the region.
Also, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the new garbage sorting complex, which after the completion of licensing will begin its full work. The object will provide sorting up to 30 thousand tons of solid municipal waste per year, useful fractions will be separated for reuse.
“The President of Russia has a task to form a closed cycle in our country. The key to achieving this goal is primarily the large -scale construction of modern waste management facilities. We visited one of these objects in Chuvashia. This is a clear example of an effective approach to the implementation of the task indicated in the national project, ”said Dmitry Patrushev.
The deputy chairman of the government emphasized that the development of infrastructure for waste management is the task of all Russian regions. Each previously approved territorial schemes, reflecting, including the necessary number of facilities and their construction plans. The performance of these obligations is controlled at the level of the Russian government.
