They are individuals to their family and their loved ones, but they are not the only ones who have experienced trauma during military service, reserve or regular and put an end to their lives. Since the beginning of the war (October 7, 2023), there has been a consistent increase in the number of suicide cases among IDF soldiers, with 7 suicides at the end of 2023, 21 on 2024 and 17 in the first seven months of 2025.
