For centuries, the Jewish people have been promising: “For next year in Jerusalem.” Despite the pogroms, exile and persecution, the relationship between the people and his country has never cut off. However, today this relationship is subject to the attack: undermining it, preserving it, attacking it violently, often in the name of an ideology that impersonates justice, but actually repeats the pattern of ancient hatred.
Accuse Israel of a deliberate murder of Palestinian children. Blood plot returned to fashion, as in the Middle Ages, when the Jews were accused of horrific arms: the murder of Christian children, a ritual use of the blood. These legends were not gone. The anti-Jewish discourse, which is brought without context or surgery to inspire intense emotion, is not really different, and its purpose remains when it was: to create a scapegoat, to give a collective frustration toward a joint enemy, and to justify “moral” violence.
