Dr. Michael Miro’s book, “Civil Society: The Politics School” (Russell Publishing, 2021) examines the relationship between a civil society and power in Israel, in light of the political weakening in recent decades. A wake -up civilian activity awakens.
In an age when democracy is no longer self -evident, Miro shows that civil society is now a major tool for influence of civilians. He criticizes the political arena, but also challenges the purity image of civil society, presenting concrete examples and interviews from both arenas.
