In the coordination center of the government, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev, a meeting on the development of transport and logistics corridors was held. The participants examined the current results on the volume of cargo movement in the main international areas (Azov-Black Sea direction, MTK North-South, MTK East Direction, MTK North-West Direction, MTK Northern Sea Route) and determined additional opportunities to increase the volume of freights.

According to the Decree of the President of Russia “On the National Development of the Russian Federation for the period until 2030 and for the prospect of until 2036”, by 2030 the volume of transportation through international transport corridors should increase by at least 1.5 times compared to the level of 2021.

In addition, the development of international transport corridors in the space of Eurasia in meridional and latitudinal directions were considered.
