Witnesses

He says Head of the Legal Department of Rapid Support Commander Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Alish, that their association with the Rapid Support Forces was before the war; Where they were members of the political sector and founding members of the Consultative Council, and two months after the war was the choice between leaving Khartoum and staying alongside their families and protecting them legally.

He added that they were witnesses to the violations that occur, and that they made a decision as legal to have a clear role in the areas of rapid support control, where they contacted with their leadership and presented an integrated legal vision that begins to dry all detainees in the state of Khartoum, and cover the legal vacuum in it.

“After consultations, some work was approved, while others refused to dry the detainees and prisons,” Alish says. There were two types of detainees:

  • “Secret detention centers” followed by people and not the Rapid Support Corporation has the ability to control it, as it was managed by the rapid support leaders.
  • There was a large prison, “Soba Prison”.

Alish explained that Soba prison contained about four thousand prisoners, including prisoners of citizens and “others”. He said in his testimony that the prison “has crimes that amount to war crimes, there was no food or drink or health care …”, and that “the number of deaths exceeded (40-50) people per day due to the absence of health care, and the body sometimes remains five or six days before burial.”

“We were going through, but we had no authority over it because it was for the leaders of the rapid support, as the leaders were blackmailed to release their relatives, and it became a subject of material gain,” Alish added about the detainees in Khartoum State.

“I am an existential threat”

As for Ibrahim Babji, head of the administration and the ruling that is dissident from the Consultative Council for Rapid Support, he said that the real motives behind their defection are the practices of these forces and the existential threat that it formed on the Sudanese state.

Babji said in a special statement to Al -Jazeera Net, that one of the most important reasons for their defection “from the rebel militia” is the high moral load as a result of the wide violations that affected civilians from rapid support and blatant foreign intervention, and that rapid support has become “merely a tool for external forces” and that “their societies were exploited to break up the country.”

Babji explained that to persuade the Rapid Support Command to agree to the presence of a civil administration, it was required to impose fees and taxes that are intended to supply a weapon. He said that the Rapid Support Command tried to abort the experience of civil administrations on the pretext of the partners and they went to the Sudanese political forces from “progress, steadfastness, establishment, freedom and change …”

In his speech today in Port Sudan, dissident member Abdel -Azim Salim Muhammad Ali said that the war in Sudan was not chance, “Rather, there were political forces that tried to exploit the rapid support rifle to reach the ruling, and they are still coordinating with the rapid support militia …”.

In his speech, he pointed to terrible violations to death in detention centers. He stressed that the looting practiced by the Rapid Support Forces was used systematically and intended to impoverish people, which happened in Khartoum and Al -Jazeera.

He added, “Such important events will open the door for enlightenment for the rest of the arms holders …” He accused the Rapid Support Forces bThe deceptive people, citizens, and tribes of the areas they controlled, were deceived by a large number of young people.
