North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said today, Sunday, that his country will achieve victory in its battles “against imperialism and against the United States”, during the country’s commemoration of the armistice in the Korean war.
The official Korean Central News Agency reported the statement in reference to his visit to a war museum the day before, as she stated that Kim “confirmed that our country and its people will certainly achieve the great issue of building a country rich in a strong army, and will achieve honorable victories in the confrontation against imperialism and the United States.”
North Korea signed a truce agreement with the United States and China on July 27, 1953, which ended the 3 -year war fighting. American generals signed the agreement representatives of the United Nations forces that supported South Korea.

The North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman added that his country will take “effective and appropriate measures to counter American hostile provocations in all fields.”
