Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting of the subcommission to increase the stability of the financial sector and individual sectors of the economy. The situation in agricultural engineering, the work of individual system -forming organizations was discussed.
The event was attended by Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Alexander Zhukov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Nikolai Zhuravlev, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin, representatives of federal authorities, the Central Bank of Russia, heads and representatives of investment banks, institutions of development, industry companies, parliamentarians.
The meeting participants examined the current situation in terms of production and sales of domestic agricultural machinery. It was noted that the subcommitte support measures agreed at previous meetings of the industry help maintain the stability of its work. Among them are preferential leasing, lending and subsidies, deferrals for the payment of utilization fees, the possibility of purchasing by farmers of domestic equipment with discounts.
Additionally, the Ministry of Agriculture is being worked out the issue of increasing the rate of subsidizing loans issued for the purchase of agricultural machinery. The participants in the meeting agreed that taking into account the stabilization of demand for agricultural equipment, as well as the launch of loans in the near future, there is no need to introduce additional measures to support the industry.
Alexander Novak instructed the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry and Trade to continue the monitoring of the situation in the sector of agricultural engineering and to propose decisions to ensure the development of the industry.
The Deputy Prime Minister also instructed the federal authorities to quickly monitor the situation at all system-forming enterprises for their stable work in the current economic conditions.
“Previously taken support measures are successfully working and began to give a positive effect of implementation. We continue the monitoring of the situation, if necessary, we will prepare current measures and return to the issue of developing new mechanisms, ”said Alexander Novak.
