Iran announced at dawn today, Monday, the start of a new missile attack on Israel, in the latest attack on the ongoing military confrontation between the two parties for the 11th consecutive day.
The official Iranian news agency reported “the start of a missile attack against the Zionist entity,” without details of the number of missiles that were launched or their types.
For its part, the Israeli Home Front announced the monitoring of the firing of missiles from Iran and the activation of the sirens in the Jerusalem, Tel Aviv region, and Tantania (north of Tel Aviv).
The Israeli army said in a statement that it had monitored the firing of missiles from Iran and that its air defenses were working on its interception.
Later, the Israeli home front said that the Israelis could leave protected places and shelters, in a sign of the end of the Iranian missile attack.
The new attack comes after Iran launched two missile batches on Sunday morning on Israel, leaving great destruction in several locations, hours after the US Air Force bombed 3 Iranian nuclear facilities.
The Israeli Army Radio stated that the missiles were directly landed in several areas of Israel, and added that a major destruction of a number of sites due to the rockets in the Greater Tel Aviv, Haifa, and the people of Tsyuna south of Tel Aviv.
