He emphasized that the Government is conducting a large and systemic work on the development of domestic tourism.

“Without investment in the industry, there would be no such rapid growth of the industry. It is important to maintain a positive trend and a desire to invest in domestic tourism. One of the most effective mechanisms of the national project is a program of preferential lending. 367 hotels with a common room fund of 78 thousand rooms are created according to this program. The cost of projects is almost 2 trillion rubles, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko.

In 2024, 26 million people visited Moscow, which is 2 times more than the official population of the capital. The city gives 14% of the tourist flow from the all -Russian, and in terms of foreigners trips, the figure is approaching 50%.

And just the Ministry of Economic Development summed up the results of the next selection of projects in the framework of which in 55 regions of the country it is planned to create about 11 thousand rooms in modular hotels.

Dmitry Chernyshenko added that the government launched programs for supporting the development of large ski resorts. Now the creation of 17 new resorts from the Leningrad region to Sakhalin with a total investment of 76 billion rubles is supported.

Also, the national project is implemented by a separate federal project “Industrial Support of Tourism” to support domestic manufacturers. Demand for equipment has been formed: cable roads, snow guns, rattles, buses, attractions.

The government supported the development of Suzdal in preparation for the millennium from the date of its founding. This also applies to the construction of the road from Vladimir, and the modernization of communal networks and the urban environment. Suzdal is an example of private capital participation in the formation of a unique environment for tourists and local residents.

“Our joint task is to make traveling around Russia not just the opportunity, but by the natural part of the life of every citizen,” the deputy chairman of the government said at the end.

Maxim Reshetnikov also stopped on the measures to support the tourism business. He emphasized the role of a single subsidy for regions, which allows you to create popular tourist products on the ground.

“We provide a significant part of the resources of the national project in the form of a single subsidy, giving a fairly great degree of freedom how to use it.
