World Food Program: “Breaches of Hunger” stormed one of our warehouses in Gaza news

The United Nations World Food Program said that “hordes of hungry” stormed on Wednesday one of its warehouses in the central Gaza Strip, and initial reports indicated that two people were killed and others were wounded.

“Gaza needs an immediate increase in food aid. This is the only way to reassure people that they will not die,” the program added in a statement.

For its part, the United Nations delegate to the Middle East, Sigrid Kag, considered that the residents of the Gaza Strip deserve “more than just survival.”

In a speech before the UN Security Council, Kag said that “since the resumption of hostilities in Gaza, the lives of civilians already sank in the abyss more and more.”

Kag called for a ceasefire and the release of the detainees, and she continued, “When we talk to human beings like us in Gaza, words such as sympathy, solidarity and support lost their meaning.”

In a related context, about 380 writers from the United Kingdom and Ireland – including Zadi Smith, Ian Mac Iwan and Irvin Wilsh – called for the use of “correct words” and describing the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip as “genocide”.

A similar message was signed on Tuesday about 300 French speakers, including two Nobel Literature holders, Annie Erno and Jean -Marie Gustav Laclezio.

On Monday, more than 800 legal experts in Britain – including former judges in the Supreme Court – wrote to Prime Minister Kiir Starmer, stressing that “genocide occurs in Gaza, or at least there is a serious danger of genocide.”

Israel has committed absolute American support since October 7, 2023, a genocide war in Gaza, which left more than 177,000 Palestinians between a martyr and wounded – most of them children and women – and more than 11 thousand missing.
