Not long ago (on May 5, 2025), the Knesset Constitution Committee held a first hearing in the Association’s Bill (Amendment-Foreign Political Equipment), the PA-2024.
The proposal seeks to determine two dramatic steps: the taxation of 80% on any contribution to a foreign political entity, and the denial of the right to appeal to a court from any association that most of the Mimuna comes from such sources and is not supported by the state. The Minister of Finance may determine this tax exemption, with the approval of the Finance Committee, under special circumstances.
