The deputy chairman of the government, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President at the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev met with a detachment of volunteers – state civil servants, who, after fulfilling their duty to protect their homeland, returned home.

The detachment was formed six months ago. It included 27 people: the employees of the presidential envoy apparatus in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Ministry of Health and the Nine Regions of the Far Eastern Federal District (Buryatia – 2, Yakutia – 4, Transbaikalia – 3, Kamchatka – 2, Primorye – 2, Khabarovsk Territory – 1, Sakhalin Region – 3, EAO – 2, Chukotka – 3). Volunteers worked in two directions (Kursk and Donetsk), carried out reconnaissance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on various modifications of the UAV. All volunteers were awarded the Ministry of Defense medals “Switch”, and members of the Kursk group (21 people) were additionally awarded the “Defender of the Kursk Region” medals.

“I want to thank for the decision that you made by going into the war zone. I know that many of you performed tasks with risk to life, and performed perfectly. I am sure that the memory of your work will remain for a long time. This will help you to perceive life in the other way, to perceive the work that we carry out together. Understand more how much it is needed. Maybe you will be a little fired. This is also normal. All this will remain both in the memory of Russia and in the memory of your families. In any case, today you can confidently say that you are not just ready to protect your homeland, but you defended it. Therefore, thanks. I bow to you all. You know that we are preparing new groups. And so it will be until we win. Until Russia will win. We will make every effort to bring this victory closer, ”said Yuri Trutnev.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that for the modernization and expansion of production producing military and dual-use products, the territory of the pre-development of the “patriotic” was created. “Such support is already received by 26 Far Eastern enterprises that produce FPV thrones, an aircraft type UAV, radio electronic wrestling and reconnaissance, sights, snowflower, hemostatic turnstiles, body armor and other products. Over the past year, together with the commanders of the units participating in a special military operation, the tactical and technical characteristics of the products have been identified. All products are tested for compliance with the current conditions at the front and are supplied in terms of VBU. For 2023–2024, 22.5 thousand products have already been sent to the special military operation zone, another 13 thousand products are prepared for shipment, 27 thousand products will be produced and delivered until the end of the first quarter of 2025, ”Yuri Trutnev said.

Volunteers received letters from the deputy prime minister for the service of the Motherland, the manifested courage and a personal example of the selfless fulfillment of military duty during a special military operation. And in turn, Yuri Trutnev, the apparatus of the plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Ministry of Health, and all the Far Eastern regions for help and support, and also handed over the trophy trophy and the victory banner signed by all members of the detachment.

“In April last year, Yuri Petrovich Trutnev was given the task of forming a third detachment from public servants of the Far East in order to provide assistance in the zone of his own. About five months needed to select personnel and the formation of a detachment. And this coincided with the attack of the enemy on the Kursk region. Therefore, we performed the main task exactly there. The detachment consisted of 27 federal employees. We left in mid -August to the Kursk region. And within six months, they performed combat missions in the zone of SV. I believe that the detachment fully completed the tasks set before him, and now in full force has returned to his usual civilian jobs. In my opinion, when the homeland has problems, especially the military, any man, regardless of the official position, is obliged to take weapons and defend the Fatherland. And the official has a double responsibility. This is a civil servant. The state gave him a place of work, wages, position in society.
