Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk took part in a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The meeting participants approved the draft decision of the Supreme Council, which provides for the vesting of the Council of Heads of authorized bodies in the field of transport of the EAEU member states for the development of Eurasian transport corridors.
Changes in the requirements for the instructions for the medical use of drugs have been made. These changes are aimed at eliminating the excessive volume of user testing instructions for the medical use of drugs, the updating of preventive information for the patient about the content of certain types of auxiliary substances in the drug. Making a decision will help maintain assortment availability of drugs circulating in the market and reduce the costs of pharmaceutical manufacturers.
The concept of the development of the general market for medicines within the EAEU for its approval at a meeting of EMPS has been approved. The concept is aimed at ensuring the sustainable functioning of the general market of the EAEU. Improving and optimizing registration procedures and regulation of the circulation of medicines, including the convergence of the legislation of the EAEU member states in the field of control (supervision) in the field of drug circulation. The concept also provides for an increase in the efficiency of information systems in the field of drug circulation, the development of infrastructure and competencies in the Union members, the cooperation of the Union member states in the production of pharmaceutical products.
The meeting decided to establish value norms, within which the goods of electronic trade purchased by individuals are imported into the customs territory of the EAEU without paying the customs duty. The value threshold of duty -free import in the amount of 200 euros has been preserved.
The course of the implementation of strategic directions for the development of Eurasian economic integration was considered until 2025. The commissions are proposed to accelerate the implementation of strategy measures.
On the initiative of the Russian side, a decision was made to establish the rate of import customs duty in relation to transport air conditioners, aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Russian manufacturers and increasing the share of domestic products in the Russian market. Since 2023, the production capacities of Russian manufacturers completely cover the needs for air conditioners of all public transport producers not only in Russia, but also in the EAEU.
On the initiative of Russia, a decision was made to expand the list of Russian financial organizations participating in the mechanism of financial assistance in the implementation by states by the EAEU members of joint cooperation projects in industries.
The meeting participants also supported the Russian initiative to extend the period of entry into force of the technical regulations “On the safety of alcohol products” and the development of changes aimed at reflecting the technical regulations of the features of the regulation of the Russian market.
