Hundreds of American deputies and rabbis announced their opposition to President Donald Trump’s plan for the United States to seize the Gaza Strip and displace its population.
Axios revealed that 143 democratic deputies sent a message to Trump, in which they demanded that he retract his comments on the United States’ control of Gaza.
In the letter, the deputies expressed their shock from the issuance of an invitation from an American president for a permanent forced displacement targeting two million people, the number of Palestinians of Gaza.
Representatives signature on the message represent about two -thirds of the 215 Democratic members of the House of Representatives.
