The All-Russian meeting of student groups, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the movement of student groups and the 20th anniversary of the creation of Russian student groups, started at the State Kremlin Palace.
The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin addressed the rally participants: “I greet everyone who has written their name in the chronicle of the movement of student groups, who considers themselves part of this large, close-knit family. I am sincerely proud that in my youth I also had the opportunity to go through a reliable student brigade school. Student teams represent youth and strong friendship, romance of new roads, energy and determination. These are wonderful, time-hardened traditions passed on from generation to generation. Participants in the movement, not by order, but by the call of their hearts, selflessly worked on the most important objects of the national economy, built cities and towns, developed virgin lands, built the Baikal-Amur Mainline and the largest power plants. Served the Fatherland honestly.”
The opening ceremony of the anniversary meeting was traditionally held at the State Kremlin Palace. The event was attended by more than 5.6 thousand movement participants from 89 regions of the country, as well as 12 friendly countries, partners and employers of the student movement.
“Thanks to the Russian student teams, their initiative, thanks to all members of the organizing committee, governors, federal executive authorities, employers and everyone involved in the movement, we have accomplished everything we planned. This year, 66 events were implemented, in which more than 1 million people took part. Today, student teams are not only students from Russia, but also our friends from friendly countries that were once part of our big country, who take part in our events with the same pleasure. Our guys take part in the construction of major projects in Russia and abroad, thereby glorifying our country. I would like to thank everyone for this year and our joint work, for everything that we have done and implemented together,” noted Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
Before the grand opening of the rally, many interactive events were organized for all participants of the event. In the Armorial Hall of the Kremlin Palace, guests visited the exhibition “65 years for the benefit of the country.” An exhibition project dedicated to the history of the movement of Russian student groups demonstrates the significant contribution of millions of young people to the development of our country. The main feature of the exposition was the demonstration of the achievements of student teams in various regions of Russia.
“From November 22 to 24, at the All-Russian meeting of student teams, we sum up the results of the anniversary year. Our events brought together more than 1 million people. And all of them were aimed at ensuring that the mission “Work is Cool” spreads as widely and brightly as possible among young people. In 40 thousand schools we held “Conversations about the important” on the topic of labor and RSO, large-scale murals appeared in 13 cities of Russia, and organized 44 labor projects. And this is a record. I would like to say a huge thank you to all partners, employers, authorities, educational institutions who, together with us, strive to involve young people in creative work. I express special words of gratitude to Tatyana Alekseevna Golikova for heading the organizing committee. In the Diplomatic Hall of the State Kremlin Palace The final meeting of the organizing committee was held dedicated to the celebration in 2024 of the 65th anniversary of the movement of student groups of the Russian Federation and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the all-Russian youth public organization “Russian Student Teams” chaired by Tatyana Golikova.
At the meeting of the organizing committee, the main results of the anniversary year were summed up. On behalf of the organizing committee of the anniversary year of the RSO, together with Rosmolodezh, a medal was developed and approved in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Russian student groups to be awarded to distinguished veterans, current participants in the movement, partners and employers who make a significant contribution to the formation and development of the organization. At the meeting of the organizing committee, the head of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov presented the first medal to Tatyana Golikova.
TASS General Director Andrey Kondrashov spoke about the results of information support for the RSO in the anniversary year. In just 11 months, 264 news about the events of the movement were published on TASS resources. The most popular of them were publications about the youth patriotic action “Snow Landing”» and holding a career forum “Work is cool»

An information partnership agreement was signed between RSO and TASS during the event. The agreement was signed by the head (commander) of the central headquarters of the RSO Dmitry Paramonov and Andrey Kondrashov. A memorandum was signed aimed at mutually beneficial information cooperation in terms of covering the activities of Russian student groups.
Also on the day of the grand opening of the All-Russian rally, an agreement on joint activities was signed between Russian student teams and the state corporation Rosatom. The agreement was signed by Dmitry Paramonov and Alexey Likhachev.
Rosatom is a strategic partner of the anniversary year of the Republic of North Ossetia. The year 2008 is considered to be the beginning of the revival of the movement of student groups in the nuclear industry. Since 2014, students have been involved in international construction projects of Rosatom. Over 15 years, more than 17 thousand students have attended the school of Rosatom student construction teams. Participants in the movement worked at 22 construction sites in Russia and in seven foreign projects.
“I would like to thank you, the new generation of student brigade members, for appreciating and carefully carrying on the traditions of the movement. I myself went through school in the ranks of detachments. Here we recognize each other by facial expressions and eyes. Today, nuclear construction projects are hard to imagine without you. And not only here in Russia, but also in Hungary, Bangladesh, Turkey, Egypt, India. Thank you for helping us to be the first, the best on planet Earth,” Alexey Likhachev, General Director of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, addressed the participants of the gala concert.
The Russian Railways holding is the general partner of Russian student teams and the largest partner in the transport industry for student teams. About 18 thousand RSO students were employed at the holding facilities in 2024: more than 6 thousand people, including 2948 people at BAM, worked at the facilities of the Eastern training ground, the passenger complex – more than 10 thousand people.
The general director – chairman of the board of JSC Russian Railways addressed the participants of the rally» Oleg Belozerov: “In the year of railway traditions announced at JSC Russian Railways, it is especially pleasant to note that today’s students honorably continue the best traditions laid down by the pioneers of BAM. They perform tasks in complexity and significance comparable to the labor feats of their predecessors. Dear friends, I am sincerely grateful to each of you for your contribution to the development of railway transport and our entire country. You are real people of action.”
The general partner of the anniversary year is also PJSC Gazprom. More than 15 thousand movement participants have worked at the company’s facilities over 14 years of cooperation. During the gala concert, the participants were also addressed by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom PJSC» Sergey Khomyakov: “Gazprom has always supported and will support the student movement. That we believe that this is the most correct way to educate the younger generation, because work is cool.”
Also in the Parquet Hall there were interactive platforms for partners and regions, which are the organizers of the anniversary year. Among them is the stand of a strategic partner, the technology company VK, the Mriya resort, as well as exhibition stands of regions, including Sakhalin, Tatarstan, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Rostov and Moscow regions. They share their achievements – from construction to service. Master classes, thematic stands and bright presentations will show how modern students are building the future of the country. Each stand is a story of success, perseverance and common purpose.

Over the 65 years of the movement’s existence, more than 20 million people have attended the school of student groups. These are students and schoolchildren who gained their first work experience, made new acquaintances and made a significant contribution to the development of the country.
